  • Society for Storytelling (UK) -- The SfS is the most comprehensive society in Britain for storytellers - it publishes a quarterly newlsetter, factsheets and does all sorts of things for storytelling and storytellers. Great links, too.

  • The Wheel Council -- Great site for exploring the use of storytelling for prevention and healing, multicutural learning and more -- plenty of food for thought with a good collection of links.
  • Australian Storytelling Guild (NSW) -- A friendly storytelling site by friendly storytelling people.
  • Storytelling as Ministry -- by Fr. Brian Cavanaugh, TOR, Franciscan University, Steubenville, Ohio, published in THE PRIEST, December 1994. Fr. Cavanaugh is a National Storytelling Network member. His "Appleseeds.org" web site is well worth a long look.
  • DimDima -- An online magazine from India with a good selection of stories and a huge amount of information about India. This link goes to the stories page.
Musical storytellers
  • David Holt -- Grammy award winner, musician (old time banjo, guitar, slide guitar, uke, bantar, hammered dulcimer, lap dulcimer, autoharp, bones, spoons, harmonica, jaw harp, mouth bow, washboard and paper bag), storyteller, historian, television host and entertainer, dedicated to performing, preserving and promoting traditional American music and storytelling.
  • Bill Amatneek -- He plays the five-string banjo (among many other instruments), tells stories, sings songs and has a lonnnnnnggg list of enviable credits. You'll find a nice collection of useful links on his web site.
